Big Springs PTA

Coming in January, the Big Springs PTA  is proud to present Gwen Caldwell, Storyteller. Gwen will be providing BSE students and staff a rich storytelling adventure to understand and appreciate the cultural differences and embrace the beauty these myriad facets bring to a diverse community. For over 17 years, Gwen has enjoyed sharing stories with groups of all ages at schools, libraries, museums, churches, bookstores, conferences, festivals, retreats and corporate events throughout the country. She has taught in public and private schools as well as an inner-city literacy program. Most recently, Gwen created a series of adult programs entitled, “Stories for the Second Half of Life,” and she recorded a CD of personal stories called, “The Lime Green Truck and Other Stories of Remembrance.”
